The mission of the Training Room is to develop a comprehensive sports medicine and athletic training resource for the individuals of Homer and to provide a setting that encourages physical, emotional, and spiritual development.

The TherX class time on M,W,F at 10:00am is a slower paced class for post-injury or people who just need a little more time!! They consider themselves 'advanced' and now refer to themselves as the 'A-Team'... Come join in on the fun!

Our hearts are still heavy after the sudden loss of our friend and sister, Nikki Geragotelis and her unborn daughter, Rae Marie last October. Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

COACH Steyer ON THE MEND

Coach Bill is on the mend! After a nasty fall in Nepal which severely fractured his pelvis, Coach Steyer is back in Homer. Look for him to take his Alaska State Champs back to the track and field podium!!

After a near fatal illness last year, Jean has spent the past 6 months regaining her strength, balance & coordination.  Her secret is consistency and the support of the A-Team! Whoop whoop!

ANNA WHITE- 'WORKING YOUR BUTT OFF' AWARD


Anna White- - 4 children, teaching and a 25 mile ONE WAY commute does NOT stop Anna from her nightly routine! Whoop, whoop!
SIERRA SMITH, is the very first recipient of this award. She has lost 75 pounds and has been inspiring Mary Jo and all of the members with her dedication! Whoop Whoop!!!

SPORTS YOGA & STRETCH with Kali Glosser!

ATR Ironwoman, and former yoga specialist in Argentina, Kali Glosser, will guide you through a form of sports yoga that will better suit the athletic goals of our ATR membership. This class is for MEMBERS ONLY.  Sports Yoga is now on SATURDAYS at 11am, come for a bit or stay for 90M. The perfect adjunct to your ATR strength & conditioning routine. PLEASE bring your own yoga mat!
